ABSTRACT
Este artigo objetiva demonstrar os resultados de um estudo com base no trabalho terapêutico realizado\r\ncom uma adolescente fronteiriça, a partir do manejo clínico fundamentado na teoria winnicottiana. O caso\r\nse refere a uma paciente com histórico de abandono materno, que procurou terapia aos 14 anos de idade,\r\ncom episódios de desorganização mental. A metodologia utilizada foi o estudo de caso único, que dentro da\r\npesquisa clínica visa a explorar e compreender fenômenos específicos pertencentes ao sujeito. O conceitochave\r\nempregado para a compreensão teórica do caso foi a relação de holding proposta por Winnicott, bem\r\ncomo a noção de falso self. O referencial adotado possibilitou a compreensão do caso como borderline,\r\ntratando-se de um falso self cindido, caracterizando uma patologia grave. Acredita-se que a melhora clínica\r\nfoi possível por meio do setting terapêutico sustentado pela promoção de um ambiente "suficientemente\r\nbom" na terapia
This article intents to present the results of a case study about a borderline teenage girl, based on Winnicott's\r\ntheory and clinical method. The patient had a history of abandonment by her mother, and sought\r\ntherapy at the age of 14, suffering from thought disorders.The research was conducted through the method\r\nof case study, which inside the clinical context is meant to explore and understand the phenomena that\r\nare particular to the subject. The main concepts used for the case comprehension were the holding relation\r\nand the notion of false self, both proposed by Winnicott. The study of Winnicott's conception of therapy,\r\nmade it possible for the case to be understood as borderline, being in fact a case of pathological false self.\r\nWe believe that the therapeutic progress was made possible through a setting that sustained a "sufficiently\r\ngood" environment inside therapy
